Founded by former kitesurfing record-holder David Trewern, Fliteboard began as a kitchen-table idea in Byron Bay. Now a global brand with boards sold in over 90 countries, its headquarters remains at 18 Banksia Drive, where research, development and assembly continue on site.
The newly opened showroom sits within this space, offering the public a direct view into the process behind the ride. Here, electric hydrofoils are designed and tested from concept to completion, including the latest Series 5 Jet, powered by the Flite Jet 2 propulsion system.
Visitors step into a working environment. In-progress boards sit alongside finished models, offering insight into both the product and the precision that defines it.
Quiet and purposeful, the showroom reflects the brand’s focus on considered design and ongoing innovation. It adds to the creative rhythm of the Banksia Drive precinct and offers a glimpse into what’s next for water-based travel.
